About the Learning Program

High School in the Community students engage in their community through a rigorous program of study and volunteer service in school and beyond. Students grow into leaders by working for the well being of others. HSC serves students who are interested in a future of helping others and improving their world. Our students are interested in careers in education, psychology, social services, government and law. As of 2010, HSC teachers had formed a curriculum task force to examine and revise the school’s focus.
