The authority for teachers to select staff members, create curriculum, sit on the school improvement team, etc. is informally delegated by superintendent and principal. It has always been done this way ever since the school was founded in 2003.

About the Learning Program

The school’s mission is “personalized learning through educational discovery: building 21st century leaders; one project at a time.” Students complete projects in which they incorporate the curriculum standards for the courses in which they are enrolled. They select areas of interest that are relevant to them and create an essential or guiding question to frame the investigative process.
