Teacher-Powered Coach

Skylar serves as lead teacher at Koshkonong Trails School in Cambridge, Wisconsin, where students co-create an environment- and agriculture-focused education through place- and project-based learning experiences. He brings over 15 years of experience teaching in student-focused, teacher-powered charter schools to the Teacher-Powered Schools coaching team.

Outside of the classroom and coaching, Skylar keeps himself busy working with the Greater Madison Writing Project and the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education, while also somehow finding time to enjoy the outdoors with his wife and dog.
