Instructional leadership teams

noun

The instructional leadership team (ILT) at a site is usually comprised of administrators and teacher leaders who collaborate to make decisions related to learning program. The ILT is usually a formal part of a school’s governance structure. In practice, the extent to which decisions are actually made by the ILT (rather than specific individuals such as a principal) varies enormously.
