Micro-credentials recognize and reward teachers for leading their own learning and documenting their accomplishments. Put together in a digital system, they allow educators to submit evidence of their learning, have it reviewed by experts and peers, and earn certification for demonstrating specific competencies. Watch this video to learn more about micro-credentials:
There are a series of eight teacher-powered micro-credentials, ready to certify you and your colleagues as having several of the skill sets involved in designing and implementing a teacher-powered program or school. These are not only fabulous to include in your school proposals, grant applications, and annual reports, but they build your team’s confidence in collaborative school leadership in your own context.
The micro-credentials are hosted on the Digital Promise platform, listed under "Collective Leadership." Click the button below to begin.
