Q: Who should attend the conference?

Teachers, administrators, union leaders, and anyone interested in collaborative leadership.

Q: What meals are included in registration?

  • Friday Reception: one drink and light appetizers
  • Saturday: breakfast and lunch
  • Sunday: breakfast

Q: Do I need to register separately for school tours?

Yes, there is a $75 school tour fee which includes one site visit, lunch, and transportation.

Q: Can I receive a certificate of attendance for the conference?

Yes, we will provide certificates after the conference for anyone who requests one. Some states and districts will accept these for professional development.

Q: What is the dress code?

Business casual.

Q: Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes, email Dawn Dettinger at dawn@educationevolving.org to pay by purchase order.

Q: Can I substitute a colleague if I can no longer attend?

Yes, email Amy Junge at amy@educationevolving.org to make the change.

Q: May I receive a refund if I cancel my registration?

No, registrations are non-refundable. You may transfer it to a colleague, or we will put it towards our scholarship fund to help sponsor other educators.

Q: Are scholarships available?

There are a limited number of partial scholarships available. Please email Amy Junge at amy@educationevolving.org if you would like more information.

Q: Are any discounts available?

Yes, we encourage attendees to come with colleagues. Teams of 4 or more receive a $50 per person discount on registration. Network members receive an additional $50 off each guest. Reach out to your regional network leader for your discount code, or email info@teacherpowered.org if you are a national network member.

Q: Do I need to register for breakout sessions ahead of time?

No, you do not need to register ahead of time for specific sessions.

Q: Do I need to register for the conference if I’m presenting?

Yes, you need to register if you are presenting. Presenters (up to 2 per session) receive 50% off registration costs). Presenters will be given a special code after proposals are accepted.

Q: May I attend a site visit if I’m not attending the conference?

No, site visits are only open to those already registered for the conference.
